When the cat lies in the sun in February,
She will creep behind the stove in March.
Of all the months in the year,
Curse a fair February.
If it thunders in February, it will frost in April.
If February gives much snow,
A fine summer it doth foreshow.
What does all of this mean? I don’t know, but apparently neither do the weather forecasters. What is known is that First Friday Scranton had another fantastic evening of events on February 1, 2013. Quality expressions of creativity were on hand wherever you turned. How about a little word association to describe what was on hand? Eden, a vegan café – Chemically free contrast, Northern Light – Arabically abstract, Scranton Cultural Center – Bloody good, Pierre’s – Lucidly lovely, Nada & Co. – Chromatically captivating, Artworks – Logically lush, AFA Gallery – Synectically striking, Vintage Theater – Extensively exposed, New Visions Studio – Heroically honed, Duffy Accessories – Harmoniously heartfelt , The Bog – Substantially simulacrumated, Fanciful Fox – Transfigurally toned, Freedlove – Mystically meditative, WFTE – Rationally recondite. (Yes, some of these aren’t “real” words, but neither was “google” for thousands of years)
