September is a somber month, one that holds captive the last few weeks of summer and the anticipation of the coming fall. It can be a time of reflection, regret, anxiety, and hope; quite a mixed bag. These eclectic perspectives somehow find a place and present us with a lot to mull over. This past First Friday enumerated these sentiments in song and visual stimuli. Up and down the heart of Scranton revelers were able to find something that suited their moods and tastes, all of which was accompanied by a perfectly pleasant and mild evening. It certainly gave everyone who ventured out a chance to pause and look backward, while looking forward. What more could you ask for?
