Luminary Ceremony on Courthouse Square 8/7/2015

Published: August 4, 2015

Whether you or a loved one are battling breast cancer or remembering a loved one lost, please join us at our third annual Luminary Ceremony, a part of First Friday Scranton, on August 7, 2015. The ceremony, sponsored by Wood & Company, will take place on Courthouse Square in downtown Scranton on the Spruce Street side near the fountain at 7 p.m.

Luminary sets include one candle, sand and pink bag will be available to personalize and place along the ribbon prior to the ceremony. The luminary sets are $5 and support the Komen NEPA Race for the CureĀ®.

Each candle will glow from the luminaries in celebration or remembrance of loved ones affected by breast cancer and serve as a symbol of hope to end breast cancer that affects one woman every two minutes.

We hope your Team is busying getting ready for this year’s very special 25th Anniversary Race for the CureĀ®, the area’s largest 5K, on September 19, 2015 in downtown Scranton. Please contact me at Nicole.Pettinato@hotmail.com or 570.881.8624 with any questions.

Please print the attached flyer and invite your friends and family. We hope to see you at First Friday Scranton on August 7 starting at 7 p.m. for this beautiful luminary ceremony.
