Call to Artists: Scranton Steampunk Exhibit

Published: August 31, 2012

The Vintage Theater is dedicated to the cultivation and showcase of both the visual and performing arts in the greater Scranton area. It is their firm belief that the arts are more than recreation, they are necessary for any city to thrive. They strive to stimulate the creativity and the economy of the community with both charitable fundraising and support of regional artists and performers. Talent  (and patrons) of any age or experience level are always welcomed within their humble venue!
The Vintage strives to work with new and engaging artists of all mediums and genres. For that reason, The Vintage will present an entire exhibit inspired by the style of Steam-punk (a term coined by author K.W Jeter). This exhibit (originally slated in the Vintage’s old home for July) will now occur in the new location for the month of October. No matter what the medium or size – any and all works of Steampunk style are welcomed!
