Wrapping-up First Friday Scranton May 2, 2014

Wow, what a difference a month makes. Beautiful weather brought the art loving crowds out to First Friday Scranton on May 2. There were surprises around every corner that catered to a broad spectrum of interests. Family fun oriented activities were coupled with artistic demonstrations and practiced veterans displayed their plethora of talent. From member’s shows to earth conscious exhibits, it was a patchwork of color, sound, and energy that made the downtown pulse with art…and to think it’s only the second most anticipated event of May. Coming May 29 the Scranton Cultural Center will hosting the Fifth Annual First Friday Art Auction.
